November 6-án, 24-én és 25-én az ELTE Társadalomtudományi Kutatóközpont Politikatudományi Kutatóintézete az ELTE Társadalomtudományi Kar Culture Club-jával együttműködve három workshopot szervezett a női energiaszegénységről, a WISE (Women in Solidarity for Energy) és a LIGHT (Local Initiatives for Green Housing Transitions) projektek keretében. A workshopokra az ELTE Társadalomtudományi Karán került sor, összesen 50 résztvevővel és Ana Stojilovska, Szabó Sára és Szücs Lili moderálásával zajlottak.

Békés Csaba, intézetünk kutató professor emeritusa 2022-ben kiadott angol nyelvű monográfiájáról 37 oldalas könyvfórum jelent meg a Harvardon szerkesztett Journal of Cold War Studies folyóiratban. (Hungary’s Cold War: International Relations from the End of World War II to the Fall of the Soviet Union. Chapel Hill: University of North Carolina Press). Az itt közölt négy recenzióval együtt eddig összesen 11 ismertetésben méltatták a könyvet. 

Megjelent Fedinec Csilla új tanulmánya, melyben az ukrajnai kisebbségi jogok alakulásának három évtizedét elemzi: a korai időszak nyitottságát és pluralizmusát követően az állam-centrikus megközelítés erősödése új alapokra helyezte a szabályozást, majd – részben az európai integrációs törekvések hatására – további, átfogó jogi reformok indultak el. A tanulmány itt olvasható.

"What shapes hostility towards migrants, Messing and Ságvári observe, is not the presence of migrants, but perceptions of trust and cohesion. “People in countries… with a high level of general and institutional trust, low level of corruption, a stable, well-performing economy and high level of social cohesion and inclusion… fear migration the least,” they note, whereas “people are fearful in countries where the basic tissue of society is damaged, where people don’t trust each other or the state’s institutions, and where social cohesion and solidarity are weak”.
