Our colleague, Réka Marchut, will give a presentation on October 8 in Cluj-Napoca at a conference organized by the Romanian Institute For Research On National Minorities, entitled Minority Education in Central and Eastern Europe. Policy Aspects, Educational Equity and Cultural Recognition. The title of her presentation is: The School Issue in the Swabian Villages of Satu Mare during World War II (1940-1944)

A chapter by our colleague, György Szerbhorváth, titled „Die Vojvodina als Ort multiethnischen, multikonfessionellen Zusammenlebens – Ein Vorbild für die Europäische Union?”, has been published by Leipziger Universitätsverlag in the book „Durch den Eisernen Vorhang nach Europa – Osteuropa nach 1989”, edited by Maik Reichel and Wolfram Tschiche.

The latest issue of the European Journal of Risk Regulation, a Cambridge-based Q1 academic journal  has been published under the guest editorship of Fruzsina Gárdos-Orosz and Zoltán Szente, research professors at the Institute for Legal Studies.

Viktória Bányai will give a presentation with Rita Horváth at the conference Year Zero: The Experience of 1945 – Endings, Transformations, and Renewal in Vienna on September 12, 2025. The title of their presentation is Drawing to Document: How Holocaust Survivor Jewish Girls Depicted Their Surroundings in Budapest in 1945.

The complete video recording of the CEU István Bibó Free University course entitled "DEPENDENT RELATIONSHIPS: Hierarchy, Moral Economy, Clientelism" is now available for the spring semester. The course was led by our colleague Gergely Pulay. The course syllabus can be found here.
