Authors of the best publications of our institutes are acknowledged each year. On 5 March, 2025, Zsolt Boda, General Director, handed out the awards at the annual meeting of the Centre for Social Sciences, followed by brief presentations of the research findings.
We inform our partners that due to a government decision, our research centre was integrated into ELTE Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest. As of 1 August 2025, our legal name is ELTE Centre for Social Sciences

The Horizon Europe research project proposal MORES – "Moral emotions in politics: how they unite, how they divide" submitted by CSS (project leader Zsolt Boda) was successful and got funding. CSS will lead the European consortium.
PLEDGE - POLITICS OF GRIEVANCE AND DEMOCRATIC GOVERNANCE is a research and innovation project studying grievances and their impacts on democracy.
This book, edited by András Bíró-Nagy and Ania Skrzypek, and published by Palgrave Macmillan, analyses three decades of political developments within the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia.
